Named in honor of Doris Kearns Goodwin and Richard N. Goodwin, the Goodwin Forum is the Library's largest publicly reservable meeting space.
Please note the use of the full, undivided Goodwin Forum is reserved for Library-sponsored events only. During public bookings, the Goodwin Forum is separated into two rooms by an acoustic divider, and activities are restricted to the right-side room. The left-side room remains reserved for use for Library-sponsored programs or general walk-in use.
Booking of the Goodwin Forum also includes access to the following A/V equipment, available to borrow at the Circulation Desk with a valid Minuteman Network library card in good standing:
- (2) Handheld Microphones,
- (1) Guest A/V Kit, and
- (1) Guest Laptop
The Library's A/V equipment is designed to be self-serve. The Library does its best to provide A/V assistance if requested at least 7 days in advance, but staff availability is limited, and unforeseen circumstances may impact the availability of staff on the day of your event. For this reason, we strongly recommend all presenters thoroughly familiarize themselves with our Goodwin Forum Guest A/V Guide in advance of their booking.
