Hot Glue Gun
The Workshop offers two different types of glue guns for makers of all ages:

Laser Jet Printer
Our HP MFP M480 Laser Jet Printer is a standard office printer with copy, scan, and print functions. We ask all makers to help us maintain our toner supply by contributing 15¢ per black and white page and 40¢ per color page to the Workshop Fund. If you plan to print more than 15 pages, we suggest you seek a commercial printing alternative.
It is stocked with standard weight printer paper or you may optionally supply your own specialty paper - just make sure it's laser jet compatible. Please note that The Workshop does not offer large format or photo printing, and most photo paper is not compatible with laser jet printing.

Use of our A/V Lab includes access to four sets of equipment:
- a Podcasting Kit that includes two microphones and a mixer
- a Video Kit that includes a 4K digital camcorder, tripod, optional clip-on microphones, three standing lights, green screen, black fabric backdrop, and a small collection of props and accessories,
- a 25" Pop-Up Photography Studio with black and white backdrops and DSLR camera, and
- an Editing Booth that includes two 4K monitors compatible with the Workshop's Macbooks and any USB-C equipped device, noise-reducing acoustic paneling, tabletop speakers, and an electric sit/stand desk.
Compatible SD cards are available to borrow from the Workshop's front desk, but they're due back at the end of your reservation, so be sure to leave yourself enough time to transfer your files to a personal device before you go! To save time, you may also want to reserve a Macbook or headphones before you arrive.
Our Podcasting and Video Kits are Trained Makers! Tools - before your visit, be sure to watch our Podcasting Kit or Video Kit training video in its entirety. Sublimation Printer
Our Epson SureColor F170 Dye-Sublimation Printer prints onto special, heat-resistant paper with the same kind of ink found in Cricut's Infusible Ink, allowing you to print custom full-color graphics that can be heat pressed seamlessly onto polyester and polyester-coated products. All makers are welcome to print something small for free. We ask experienced makers those looking to print something larger to help us maintain our filament supply by contributing $1 per 8 filament sticks to the Workshop Fund OR bring their own compatible, brand-name 3Doodler filament in its original packaging.

The Workshop offers two models of 3D printers, both with fully-enclosed, heated print beds and easy-to-learn scaffolded interfaces! Choose between:

- our Robo E3 Pro 3D Printers(9.8" x 11" x 11.8" build area, up to 150mm/s)
All makers are welcome to print something small (less than an hour print time) for free. We ask experienced makers those looking to print something larger to help us maintain our filament supply by contributing 75¢ per hour of printing to the Workshop Fund OR bring their own 1.75mm PLA from home.

New makers are welcome to use one of our 4x4" birch plywood sheets for free. We ask experienced makers and those working on larger projects to help us maintain our supply by contributing 50¢ per square to the Workshop Fund OR bring their own Glowforge Proofgrade Material* from home (proof of purchase from an approved vendor required). Please note that at this time we DO NOT allow the use of the Pro Passthrough feature.
