Write On! Memoir Writing

Join us this November for our Write On! writing seminar series.

Committing to writing a memoir daunting, but what if the process could be narrowed down to a few concrete approaches? In this two-hour introductory workshop led by Judah Leblang, you'll look at key aspects of developing a book-length memoir to clarify the theme or through-line of your story: identifying your central question, locating key turning points that move the story along, and considering a possible takeaway for your reader. In addition to a brief craft talk, you'll be led through several short writing exercises to explore this process.

Please bring a notebook and something to write with!
