Please join the William Munroe Special Collections for the opening of the exhibit: 

Art & Enterprise: Daniel Chester French in Concord.

The evening will feature a presentation, "From the Minute Man to the Melvin Memorial: Daniel Chester French and his Concord Connections," by Dana Pilson, Curatorial Researcher and Collections Manager, Chesterwood: The Historic Home, Studio and Gardens of America's foremost late 19th-early 20th-century sculptor, Daniel Chester French, preceded by a short introduction with Chesterwood's Interim Director, Margaret Cherin.

After the presentations, light refreshments will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to view the exhibit in the Art Gallery on the second floor of the Library. The event is proudly sponsored by the Concord Free Public Library Corporation.
