Sew-Your-Own Scrunchie

We're throwing it back to the early 2000s with this beginner-friendly sewing workshop! Learn the basics of the Workshop's sewing machines as we make one of the ultimate Y2K accessories: the scrunchie.

Whether you're heading back to school or just love retro fashion, this is your chance to get crafty and create a custom scrunchie that would make any 2000s pop star proud. All materials provided or BYO favorite quilting-weight fabric to scrunchie-fy!

Recommended for makers ages 8 to 108. A completed safety waiver is required for all participants.

This workshop will be repeated across four sessions - please register for only one session. If you are wait-listed, you are welcome to join all session waitlists in case of cancellations. Additionally, both wait-listed patrons and walk-ins are welcome to visit the Library at the listed date and time for this event. Should any registered attendees cancel less than 24 hours in advance or fail to arrive 10 minutes past the listed start time, spots may be granted to those waiting in the order they arrive.
