Come join the Concord Lions Club on the library lawn for "Seeing is Believing", in celebration of Blindness Awareness Month! Saturday, September 27th from 11am-2pm at the Concord Main Public Library.

Activities include:

• Free Eye Screenings for all ages
• Can the visually impaired play baseball? They sure can. Come and watch a demonstration from the Blind Baseball team on the front lawn of the library!
• Kids Corner
•        - Meet the friendly lion
•        - Face painting and games
•        - Free popcorn
•  Print your name in braille and check out a book printed in braille
• Learn what life is like to be blind
• Hear about visual impairments and how to recognize symptoms
• Meet a seeing eye dog and see the amazing things they can do!
