LEELA is a captivating theatrical production that invites audiences on a profound journey of self-discovery and healing. Workshopped over the last 4 years in Europe and the USA, LEELA draws its inspiration from the Sanskrit term for “divine play,” and blends gritty narrative, classical sonnets, and stand-up comedy into a riveting 65-minute solo performance. Through poignant storytelling, the play written and performed by Sean Casey Leclaire beckons us to confront our deepest fears, desires, and vulnerabilities.

Ultimately, the piece comes down to Touching Our Better Selves — a concept that so many people need reminding of in the fast-paced landscape that is today’s world.

Sean Casey Leclaire's (writer/actor) new solo show LEELA has been well received by audiences in Europe and North America, including a week-long run at TheaterLab in New York City. A long-time Concord resident, and dual citizen of Canada and the USA, his three books, Hug An Angry Man And You Will See He Is Crying, Mud-Wrestling With My Mind, and Stumbling Into Joy, share a gritty and graceful journey into conscious living. In addition, as the founding partner of Sean Leclaire & Associates, Sean and his coaching colleagues guide clients to become more aware and effective leaders.
