The League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle,  the Town of Concord's DEI Commission, and the Concord Free Public Library invite you to represent your organization in our fourth Concord Social Justice Roundtable efforts to make Concord and Carlisle a more inclusive community where everyone feels they belong.

Purpose

The Concord Social Justice Roundtable has been created as a forum for various groups and individuals who share the common goal of helping Concord become a more welcoming, equitable, and inclusive community. It is hoped that this roundtable will allow participants to share learning, ideas, and strategies in the work at hand and provide opportunities for synergy and collaboration.

The quarterly meetings are opportunities where we can meet in person, connect our efforts and listen effectively to our shared concerns and aims in confronting barriers to being an inclusive and diverse community where everyone feels they belong.

The facilitator for our upcoming session will be Robyn Ochs who will be both presenter as well as discussion leader. She will engage us in the topic of:

All the Letters: Understanding LGBTQIA+ Identities & Experiences and Creating a Culture of Inclusion

Robyn has spoken at more than 500 colleges, universities, conferences workplaces, and public events around the world including at CCHS.

This event serves as an exciting introduction to Concord Pride programs and events which will be taking place throughout the community during the month of June.
