Get started with gelli plate printing with local artist Kimberly Stoney! Participants will learn the basics of this unique art process that uses a combination of a gelatin-like printing plate, stencils, and unconventional materials to make beautiful, vibrant prints to take home! Recommended for makers ages 10 to 110. Younger makers may do best working together with a caregiver in a single registration slot.
Kimberly Stoney is a local craft designer, stylist, and artist! She's worked with publications such as FamilyFun, Parents, Highlights and Better Homes & Gardens magazines, Bluprint, the Girls Scouts of America and Storey Publishing to create, test and style crafts and decor for print and television. This workshop will also be offered as an March 17 session - please register for only one session. If you are wait-listed, you are welcome to join both session waitlists in case of cancellations. Additionally, both wait-listed patrons and walk-ins are welcome to visit the Library at the listed date and time for this event. Should any registered attendees cancel less than 24 hours in advance or fail to arrive 10 minutes past the listed start time, spots may be granted to those waiting in the order they arrive.
