Explore the imaginative world of dance through this workshop in the Bharatanatyam repertoire, South Indian Classical dance form.

Participants will be introduced to basic steps, rhythm, expressions and storytelling. Creative themes will be explored through learning hand gestures and facial expressions, as we create our own dance stories.

About the instructor:
Laiya Maria Pavlov is a performing artist and Dance Teaching Assistant at Harvard University and Acton School of Ballet. Laiya is a sophomore at Concord Carlisle High School.
