Writing a Book When You Don't Know Where to Start (Fowler)

Saturday, April 273:00—4:30 PMMeeting RoomFowler Library1322 Main Street, Concord, MA, 01742

Have you thought about writing a book, but believe it's only for professional writers? In this lighthearted presentation, Dora will show you how everyday life, such as parenting, career challenges, pets, and health issues, can be an inspiration to write your first (or next) book, even if you never had any training in writing. You will also have a chance to check out Dora's debut novel Choice, (rated 5/5 by Readers' Favorite!), a mother-daughter story from the perspective of a service dog.

Dora Farkas, PhD is an MIT-trained scientist author, fusing science, intuition and the wisdom of ancient civilizations into transformational adventure stories. An author of two books and the mother of two girls and a yellow Labrador, Dora has coached graduate students in writing since 2009, and has given writing workshops at many universities, including MIT, Tufts, Boston University, and the Scripps Research Institute.
