Fowler Afoot: A Walking Book Club

Wednesday, January 2510:00—11:00 AMFowler Branch (1322 Main St.)Fowler Library1322 Main Street, Concord, MA, 01742

Get outside with Fowler Afoot as we walk and talk about books the fourth Wednesday morning of every month. We meet at the Fowler Branch Library at 10 AM and walk over together to the Main Street entrance of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.  If weather does not cooperate, we will meet inside.

This month we will read David Grann’s award winning true crime narrative, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. Dave Eggers wrote in his 2017 New York Times review that Grann “...illuminates a sickening conspiracy that goes far deeper than those four years of horror. It will sear your soul.” This best seller has been adapted into a movie directed by Martin Scorsese and will be released by Apple in 2023. Copies of the book are available for pickup at the Fowler Branch, and both the ebook and audiobook are available on Libby.
