Films at Fowler: Breaking Boundaries - The Bishop's Wife

Wednesday, November 307:00—8:30 PMZoom

Films at Fowler continues in fall 2022 with Breaking Boundaries!

For 26 years Concord film viewers gathered on winter evenings at Fowler Library to see some of the most interesting and stimulating examples of current and classic cinema from around the world. That movie series, now called Films at Fowler, changed to an online format in 2021 and continues in that format in 2022. Because we don’t meet in person, we will now view—on your own time schedule—selected movies on Kanopy, a free streaming service available to Library patrons. We will then gather on Zoom on scheduled evenings for a lively movie discussion. The theme of the movies in fall 2022 continues with Breaking Boundaries. All seven movies in this fall series are about going beyond the status quo and challenging limits and expectations.

The Bishop's Wife (1947)
Discussion date on Zoom: Wednesday, November 30 at 7 p.m.

Cary Grant plays an angel who comes to earth to help a bishop and his wife recover from financial and marital difficulties.

Please watch The Bishop's Wife on Kanopy before the discussion.

This discussion is sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.
