Learn about the history of The Robbins House and the stories of the Robbins and Garrison families, and Ellen Garrison's journey from a school girl in Concord to her civil rights activism during Reconstruction.

The Robbins House, located on 320 Monument Street in Concord, is one of the only known historic sites commemorating the legacy of a previously enslaved Revolutionary War veteran, Caesar Robbins. It was also the home of fugitive slave Jack Garrison.
